We've just exited Redgate, with lots of exit curb, concrete rumbles reverberating through the entire chassis and forcing every nerve into full-vibrate mode. As we straighten up and start to curve through the long Craners, the drop downhill towards the old Hairpin adds to the sheer exhilaration and feeling of speed increasing. We're now at 125mph with 130 not far away - it doesn't sound that fast, but with your buttocks a mere 6 inches from the tarmac and the Autumn air flying at my visor and crackling around my crash helmet, it feels like 190.

For a massive world renowned car brand Gumball to have an event a short distance from my house, it seemed rude not to. Rival team bosses, namely Zak Brown of McLaren Racing, as well as murmurings from Ferrari and Mercedes, have called the fine, and more-so the 10% reduction in wind tunnel time 'too lenient' and not a harsh enough penalty for Red Bull. The fact of the matter from where I sit, is that if Mclaren and the rest of the opposing parties consider the 10% reduction a risk worth taking, then they would all go over the spend-cap by the same amount as Red Bull now that this precedent has been set. We have recce’d a layout for this Autumn Tour which incorporates navigating along some beautiful Welsh hillsides, around captivating reservoirs and has a selection of quality roads for all participants to enjoy. There will be photograph opportunities along the way, as well as fuel and coffee stops, and plans are back in place to have our photographer at the roadsides as normal. The total route is around 110 miles. You can follow the link below to book your space, but be aware that spaces are limited due to capacity at the start venue we are using.
